My favorite sandwich growing up was a peanut butter sandwich. I pretty much ate one every day for lunch...although I wasn't a fan of jelly. I only discovered the JOY of jelly as I got older... what had I been thinking?! It is sooo sweet & the colors soooo vibrant...I had definitely been missing out!!! Why am I talking about this? I have a friend who signs off her e-mails with PB&J...Peace, Blessings, & JOY!!! It got me thinking....don't wait a moment longer...put the J in your life today...enJOY!!!

Somehow that just seems to come up short for me...not surprising if you know me;) Joy for me is beyond HAPPY...it is also feeling my eyes get extra sparkly, my laughter bubble up & out, & a lightness as well as an exuberance throughout my body!!! What a rush!!! How do you define JOY? What makes you JOYful? Think about a time you have felt it. Now shut your eyes & allow yourself to relive that moment & feel the JOY bubble up in you. Today is my Gram's 95th birthday!! She is such an inspiration!! For her 90th birthday, she was asked by her friends what kind of jewelry her husband gave her. She told me, "Why would I want another piece of jewelry? It just sits there & does nothing....Do you know what I told him I wanted? she asked me as her face lit up...a faster computer!!" She began talking tech speak way beyond me & all I could do was smile! She's amazing!! She recently got a cell phone & is texting... & cannot wait to use all the features it is capable of!! She has always been that way... wants to learn more, do more, & give more. She lives with gratitude every day ... & loves unconditionally. What a way to live! I am very grateful & blessed to have the gift of my Gram in my life...help me honor her on her birthday by doing something more....more learning, more giving, more loving!
